ACHIEVE CCS

Ambitious Careers and Holistic Innovation for Empowering Women in Cultural and Creative Sectors

March 2026

Welcome to the Creative Sisterhood virtual exhibition.

The artists whose work you are experiencing, were not given a brief for this exhibition. Instead, they were given space and support to create what moved them personally, in teams or solo. The theme that naturally emerged was that of a “Creative Sisterhood”. This came about from the circumstances surrounding the creation of the artworks more so than from the artworks themselves. Before setting out to work on their pieces, the artists participated in the ACHIEVE CCS Academy, a series of courses over seven (7) weeks that was designed to offer training and guidance on topics such as Leadership & Team Management in CCS, Networking & International Opportunities, Negotiation Skills, and more. This is a female-led program, from women for women.

Through this program, new collaborations were formed that respected each artist’s unique skillset while challenging them to contribute to a shared effort, resulting in pieces that amount to more than the sum of their parts. Artists that preferred to exhibit solo also participated in the collaborative environment of the ACHIEVE CCS Academy and were encouraged to share their ideas and exchange feedback.

While exploring this exhibition you will discover a plethora of different art forms, from poetry to embroidery as well as recurring topics that seem to take centre-stage across the board; nature and natural symbols, trauma and resilience, and expressions of womanhood.

The participating artists are based in France, Greece, Ireland, Turkey, and Ukraine. We are particularly grateful to have participating artists from Ukraine, whose resilience and creativity inspire us all.
