Synopsis
The work explores the expectations imposed on the contemporary woman, shaping the way she exists. Within this framework, there is a continuous process of self-regulation, an adaptation to a standardized mold that restricts authentic expression, concealing it. Glitter works as a central metaphor, and through its use, there is discussion on the dual reality of female presence: its shine becomes a symbol of social acceptance, but also a tool of limitation. In the video, the repetition of movement, the stillness of the body, and the storytelling operate as audiovisual metaphors for this social pressure.
